Our road trip through the Americas
Our adventure began in early March 2024, when we set off from Luxembourg and drove our motorhome to Hamburg. From there, it was shipped across the Atlantic to Canada. We landed in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where the journey truly began.
We made our way westward across the country to British Columbia, then ventured north through the Yukon into Alaska. From Alaska, we began a gradual journey south, traveling through western Canada and the U.S. along the Pacific coast, eventually reaching Mexico.
In December 2024, we arrived in Baja California, where we celebrated Christmas and rang in the New Year. Afterward, we crossed to mainland Mexico and continued our travels through Guatemala and Belize before returning once more to Mexico.
By mid-May 2025, it was time for the next chapter: we shipped our motorhome from Veracruz to Cartagena, Colombia — marking the beginning of Part II of our grand adventure.
